Duct silencers, acoustic louvres, and enclosure panels sized to the specific equipment are typically more effective — and more cost-efficient — than a general perimeter barrier, because they treat the source rather than the whole site.
CVibration & structure-borne noise
Heavy rotating or reciprocating machinery can transmit noise through the building structure itself, showing up as noise in spaces with no direct line of sight to the source. Vibration isolation mounts and, where needed, floating floor construction interrupt this path at the equipment base rather than trying to treat it downstream.
