What we collect when you contact us, why, and how to reach us about it.
B-Acoustics ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This page explains what we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name and email address (required), and optionally your company, phone number, the setting of your project, and any details you write in the message field. If you use the chat assistant instead, we receive whatever you type into that conversation.
We don't use tracking cookies. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic, cookieless traffic statistics (page views, approximate location by country) — it does not identify you individually or track you across other sites.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry — to understand your project, get back to you with a scope or answer, and, if you proceed, to deliver the work. We don't use it for marketing emails, and we don't sell or rent it to third parties.
Who else sees it
Submitting the enquiry form sends your details to us by email via Resend, our transactional email provider. If you use the chat assistant, your messages are sent to Anthropic (which powers the assistant) to generate a reply. Both providers act as data processors for us — they don't use your data for their own purposes. We don't share your information with any other third party.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and chat records only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where a project proceeds, for our business and accounting records. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, contact us and we'll action it.
Your rights
Under the PDPA, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw your consent to our continued use of it. To do any of these, email studio@b-acoustics.com with your request — we'll respond within a reasonable time.
